I like the base of my interior clean and simple, with a monochrome color palette. Such an interior allows for items with other colors to stand out. I rarely go wild on colors in my home, but I love a pop of navy, beige or leafy green. Even though plants have a rather bold color, they won't overrule your interior as long as you don't put them everywhere. I find green plants a beautiful addition to a neutral interior, as their shapes and colors bring the room to life.
Big plants
Big plants work perfectly as eye-catchers in a minimal interior. I like them especially against a white wall, because it makes the green look more vibrant. An Olive Tree, Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree, Monstera, or Ficus Pandurata are very suitable and pretty indoor plants.
Cacti & succulents
If you couldn't keep a plant alive to save your life, don't worry, these plants are very low maintenance. Cacti and succulents have made a huge comeback, so no one will know why you picked this plant. Besides, the possibilities with cacti and succulents are endless. Let the fun begin!
Green accents
You don't necessarily need to stick to plants in pots. If you want to try something more subtle, take a couple of stems or leaves and put them in a vase or jar. Eucalyptus is very suitable for this, and it has a slightly more grey color, for those who are a little scared of bright colors.
